Football fans will have the chance to meet some legends of the sport while raising money for a north-east cancer support charity.
The Maggie’s cancer support centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary will host a Men’s Night next Thursday at 6.30pm, where guests will have the opportunity to meet Scottish football heroes Willie Miller and Craig Brown.
Other guest speakers, including renowned photographer Andy Hall and motivational speaker Tharaka Gunarathne, will join the two stars for a night of interactive speaking and charity fundraising.
All the money raised will be used to help Maggie’s to continue to provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.
Miller made a club record of 560 appearances for Aberdeen FC in his career before replacing Alex Smith as the AFC manager in 1992.
Brown, meanwhile, played for Dundee and Falkirk before coaching various Scottish youth teams until he was appointed Scotland manager in 1993.
