Two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeen this afternoon.
A black Vauxhall Meriva and grey Honda Jazz collided at the junction of King Street and East North Street at around 2.15pm.
Police closed West North Street while the cars are taken off the road.
Aberdeen City Council was called to clear up a fuel spill before the road reopens.
A spokesman for the ambulance service: “We received a call to attend a road traffic incident at the junction of King Street and East North Street in Aberdeen.
“Two ambulances and our special operations response team were dispatched to the scene and two patients taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.”
Neither person suffered life-threatening injuries.
