Police have charged a 24-year-old man from Aberdeen in connection with the alleged theft of six vehicles.
Inquiries and activity have been ongoing in the area after a number of vehicles were reported stolen, the majority in Aberdeen.
On Sunday, an Audi SQ7 was recovered after officers were alerted to suspicious activity in the Dyce area of the city by a member of the public.
Four people were arrested in connection, one man subsequently being charged in connection with the theft of six vehicles.
He has also been charged in connection with attempting to pervert the course of justice along with two other men both aged 34, and a 30-year-old woman.
The men and women have also been charged in connection with alleged reset.
They are all expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said: “I would like to thank the member of the public who contacted police on Sunday which led to the recovery of the Audi and subsequent activity – your information was invaluable.
“Extensive inquiries are still ongoing in relation to three stolen vehicles still outstanding.”
The three vehicles are:
• a black Volkswagen Golf with the registration NU14 VZB – from Milltimber Gardens East, Aberdeen
• a grey Volkswagen Tiguan with the registration SD12 JTV – from Skene Street, Aberdeen and
• a grey Landrover Discovery with the registration SF07 YDV – from Strachan, Banchory.
