A van smashed into the front of an Aberdeen shop early this morning.
The vehicle crashed into the Tesco Express in North Deeside Road in Cults.
The Bank of Scotland next door was also damaged.
It is understood the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal. No one was injured in the incident.
It happened at around 5.25am and the road was closed for more than two hours.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: “We are assisting the building owner by securing the frontage so they can carry out further investigations this afternoon.
“The pavement beside the Tesco is being closed and we need to restrict vehicle movements beside the frontage of the shop due to concerns about vibrations from heavy vehicles so the road is to have a closure although it will be two-way with restrictions.”
