An award-winning funnyman has been announced as the latest act to play this year’s Aberdeen International Comedy Festival.
Viral sensation Gary Meikle will bring his new live show The iBrow Guy to the Tivoli Theatre on October 9, his first ever theatre performance.
Focussing on discussing life as a single parent, he will share his remarkable life story about how he’s survived a troubled childhood to defy the odds, raised a daughter without her mother and became a granddad all before he was 40.
He said: “Aberdeen is one of my favourite cities to play in and I simply can’t wait to come back up to perform at the sublime Tivoli theatre as part of this year’s festival.
“You’ve always made me feel welcome Aberdeen, to the point where I’m a miserable sod all the way home. So come join me for what will be the last showing up your way of my debut tour show, the iBrow guy, hope to see y’all soon.”
