Fresh plans to convert a former north-east bank into a cafe have been unveiled.
Sava Estates want to create a “quality” eatery in the former Royal Bank of Scotland in Turriff.
It would serve hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes from 10am-9pm seven days a week.
A supporting statement says the proposed development would lead to the “successful recycling” of the former RBS outlet.
It said it may well help develop a “community spirit” in Turriff town centre.
The document said: “The proposed development will introduce a new local eatery into the town and in the process see the successful recycling of this building.
“The cafe will be a meeting place, where community spirit can be fostered and bring activity into the area.
“In the evenings and in the winter months the splay of light from the large windows will illuminate the footpath and contribute to the sense of well-being and safety so essential if the town centre is to be enjoyed.”
