Teams of firefighters from across the north-east are tackling a fire in a building at Longside.
Calls came into emergency services about the property, thought to be in the Inn Brae area, around 11.37am today.
Firefighters from Peterhead, Maud, Fraserburgh, Ellon, Old Meldrum and Central are on scene.
A fire has taken hold in a house.
Crew believe the dwelling was unoccupied at the time of the blaze.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “We’ve got 11 appliances in the area – eight of those are actual pumps.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area of Inn Brae in Longside, #Peterhead as a large number of emergency service vehicles are in the area responding to a fire. Drivers are asked to use alternative routes in the meantime. #ABZTravel
