Shrek, Donkey and other musical cast members entertained visitors at a north-east animal sanctuary to help raise money.
Willows Animal Sanctuary and Animal Assisted Therapy Unit held a fundraising event on Saturday, welcoming the cast of Shrek the Musical.
To raise money for the creatures in their care, Willows staff arranged an ethical living festival.
As well as the stalls about the environment, there were Faceplant Foods, cake stalls, tombolas, a raffle, Turriff Fire Brigade, face painting, and the animals.
Vikky McDonald, the yard manager, said she was grateful to everyone involved for the success of the event.
She said: “We’d like to say a massive thanks to the Shrek cast for donating their time and doing a fantastic performance.
“And a huge thanks to all our amazing staff and volunteers for making the day possible.
“The turn out was great considering the weather.
“We had stalls on the environment and lots of tombolas and raffles and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.”
Shrek the Musical runs in His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen, from July 3 to 6.
