Charity golfers have raised more than £13,500 for north-east cancer support services.
Nearly 20 teams competed in the annual Clan golf day at Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Club last month.
An auction and raffle in the clubhouse after the competition around the Oldmeldrum par 70 course had concluded helped add to the total.
Oil firm CNR International sponsored the day.
Clan’s fundraising team manager, Steph McCann, said: “The Clan Golf Day has been a great success and raised a fantastic total for the charity. It was a sell-out and the players had a great day.
“Congratulations to Jackie’s Lads, who won despite tough competition, and thank you to everyone who supported the event to help Clan continue to provide support services, free of charge, to anyone who needs them.
“The team at Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Club are always very welcoming and accommodating and they really look after everyone, which adds to the fun of the occasion.”
Clan Cancer Support provides comfort, support and information, free of charge, for anyone affected by any type of cancer.
The Aberdeen-based charity covers the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.
Entries have already opened for next year’s golf day at Meldrum House on Thursday May 7.
The charity expects demand to be high for the 18 places in the competition.
