Pupils at an Aberdeen primary school are putting their best foot forward for a 300-mile charity challenge.
Cults Primary’s running club, the Cults Cheetahs, will run, jog and walk a combined 300 miles on June 21.
They hope to raise money for three charities, Fiona’s Eye Fund, ARCHIE and Charlie House.
The Cheetahs have carried out similar challenges in 2017 and 2018, but are hoping to cover even more ground this year. They will each complete as many laps as they can in an hour.
Parent Rebecca MacKenzie, who helps run the club, said that the event “has become a favourite” for the children.
She said: “This year, we have set ourselves a huge challenge to run 300 miles before school doing laps of our school playing fields.”
Staff members from all three charities are paying visits to the local school in the run up to the challenge, to share with their work with the children.
