An Aberdeen man has admitted threatening to kill his former partner in a barrage of obscene text messages and voicemails.
Konrad Pietrasik pleaded guilty at the city’s sheriff court yesterday when faced with a transcript of the death threats.
The 31-year-old sent the woman a text message saying, “you will die tonight” on the evening of April 21.
He was out of the country at the time.
An hour and a half later Pietrasik – whose address was given as Marchburn Avenue in Northfield – bombarded his victim with 19 calls in the space of 10 minutes.
A number of offensive and threatening voicemails – telling the woman he would kill her that night – were also left when she didn’t answer.
The court heard the woman was “fearful” of Pietrasik and took the threats seriously, despite knowing he was abroad.
She raised her concerns with police, who translated the messages.
He was released on bail provided he stayed away from his ex and her home.
The case will return to court next month once social work reports are compiled.
