A north-east country park is preparing to play host to a popular family event.
The Wild About Aden extravaganza takes place at Aden Country Park in Mintlaw on Tuesday, July 23, and Wednesday, July 24, between 11am and 3.30pm.
Attractions include alpacas, archery tag games, children’s cookery classes and a fun run.
More than 6,000 people attended the event last year and organisers are hoping for similar success this time round.
Leona Findlay, development worker at Buchan Development Partnership, said the two-day gathering is usually a hit with families across the region.
She said: “Wild About Aden is always a fantastic event and well supported by families from all over the north-east.
“We want to keep the event fresh so have added some new activities to the programme which we think will appeal to visitors.
“The popular attractions such as the Critter Keeper and Bob’s Buddies will be returning to the two day event and, because the alpacas were a huge hit at our Easter Eggstravaganza, we have invited them back for a day depending on the weather.
“The environmental information teams were so popular last year and they have lots of activities planned for this event to keep visitors busy.”
