Firefighters were called to a blaze in Middlefield in Aberdeen last night.
Two crews were sent to the fire in a building site, which broke out at around 10.45pm.
A pile of wood had caught alight.
Plumes of smoke and flames could be seen in Logie Avenue near Manor Avenue.
A spokeswoman in the fire service control room said the stop message – indicating firefighters has begun to get the blaze under control – was sent back at 12.35am.
Nearly 300 homes are being demolished in the area to make way for a short bypass around the Haudagain roundabout.
Police said there was nothing “untoward” about the fire on the demolition site.
