Image: DC Thomson. Seven people were taken to hospital after a three-car crash in Aberdeenshire this evening. Emergency services were called to the A947 Oldmeldrum-Fyvie just before 5pm. An off-duty police officer was first on the scene and confirmed no one was seriously hurt. A spokesman for the fire service said crews had only needed to make the vehicles safe. The road was closed for several hours but has re-opened.
