Firefighters were called to Tullos Primary School on Girdleness Road shortly after 9pm, with police arriving at the scene shortly after. The force has now confirmed that it is investigating a housebreaking and wilful fire raising in relation to the incident. A spokeswoman said that inquiries were at an early stage but urged anyone with information to get in touch on 101, quoting reference 4192 of June 20. The fire service confirmed there had been a “small fire” in an office in the school. A spokeswoman said: “We received the call at 9.10pm that the fire alarm was going off in the school. “It was a small fire in a ground floor office of the school. It had burnt itself out by the time our crew from Altens arrived. “Police were in attendance and we left the scene at 10pm.”
