Three teenage boys have been charged following a fire at an Aberdeen primary school.
Crews were called to Tullos Primary on Girdleness Road at around 9pm on Thursday, June 20.
A small fire had broken out in a ground floor office, but had burnt itself out before firefighters arrived.
Police have confirmed that three boys – two aged 14 and one 13-year-old – have been charged in relation to the incident.
They will now be reported to the youth justice management unit.
PC Matt Cow, who led the investigation, said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident, however it had the potential to leave a devastating impact on the school and community.
“Antisocial behaviour and the deliberate setting of fires will not be tolerated.
“Where incidents occur we will use all available means open to us to detect those responsible.”
