Police have revealed the expensive items taken in a raid on a north-east home last week.
The rural property, in the Woodland of Durris area, was targeted between 11am and 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 2.
Officers have now confirmed a gold and white gold Rolex watch, a diamond and white gold ring, earring and necklace set, a diamond engagement ring, a gold dolphin necklace, and a gold and diamond bracelet were all taken.
Detective Sergeant Andy Machray said: “This incident has understandably been very distressing for the property owners and we are carrying out a thorough investigation.
Do you recognise any of these items of jewellery stolen from a rural property in the Woodland of #Durris area of #Aberdeenshire on Tues, 2 July?

“I would appeal to anyone who may have been driving in the area and have dash cam footage to check this and contact police. In addition I would ask that anyone who has been offered items for sale checks their authenticity and if in doubt contact the police.”
Just a day after that incident, a thief sneaked into a property on Blackhall Court, Inverurie and made of with £500 worth of jewellery.
A box, containing watches, rings and necklaces, was taken between 5-10pm last Wednesday.
It is understood there is nothing to connect the two thefts but police are keeping an open mind.
Anyone with information on either incident should contact 101.
