A major road in Mintlaw will be closed from next week while essential resurfacing work takes place.
Work will start on the A952 Toll of Birness to Fraserburgh road on its South Street section in the middle of the village on July 15, and will run until July 26.
South Street will be closed between the Square and Nether Aden Road for the duration of the resurfacing.
Businesses and properties will still be accessible, however during certain parts of the project access will be partially restricted.
Baluss Place will be closed and Nether Aden Road will have a temporary waiting restriction.
Local diversions will be put in place.
A spokesman for the local authority said: “Aberdeenshire Council apologises for any inconvenience, but hopes road users will see a significant improvement and benefit from the improve carriageway.”
