Theatre lovers are being invited to watch everything from Shakespearean comedies to spooky musicals at National Trust properties in Aberdeenshire locations next week.
A variety of shows, performed by some of the country’s most renowned travelling players, will be staged with the historic locations as a backdrop.
Crathes Castle will be playing host to William Shakespeare’s classic A Midsummer’s Night Dream and Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights.
And comedy Much Ado about Nothing and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein will be on show at Pitmedden Garden.
Families visiting Drum Castle can watch the Tempest, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Frankenstein, while Haddo House also shows the Tempest.
