A north-east museum is hosting an afternoon event filled with fun for all ages.
Families are invited to spend the afternoon in and around the Mart tomorrow as part of the Alford Heritage Museum’s event.
There will be live entertainment from Katelyn Adams, from Keith, who was a finalist in the young entertainer competition at Speyfest last weekend and poet Doug Stewart from Huntly.
Lloyd Dixon and Jackie Ross will also attend to tell stories of land and sea – which will be suitable for the young and the young at heart.
Collectors are encouraged to bring their button sets to have them valued by expert Martha Brown, who will give a talk on her own collection.
A variety of activities include a lawnmower obstacle race, raffles, quizzes, button crafting and pancake making.
