Staff, volunteers and pupils at a school for children with additional support needs have been praised by a north-east MSP.
Shadow justice secretary Liam Kerr was given an update on the work of Camphill in Aberdeen during a tour of the school.
Camphill is an independent charity, with 121 centres worldwide, offering education, care and therapy to children and young people with additional support needs on a day or residential basis.
Speaking after his visit to the Bieldside campus, Mr Kerr said: “I was delighted to have been offered the chance to tour the campus and see first-hand the fantastic work that goes on here.
“The school has a long and proud history in this city and it is easy to see that it provides a positive learning environment for all who attend.
“Parents clearly feel that their children benefit hugely from the attention and expertise of the specialist team of staff and the genuine sense of community here.”
