Gavin Pirie appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to fitting the technology to his wife’s car twice. The 53-year-old, of Burnside Road, Dyce, also repeatedly called and texted her demanding to know where she was. The offences took place at his home and also at two locations in the Pittodrie area of the city between April and June this year. Sheriff Sukhwinder Gill deferred sentence for background reports. Pirie will also be assessed to see if he is suitable for a curfew as an alternative to custody. The case will call again next month.
