An annual festival of traditional music and crafts in an Aberdeen community for adults with learning disabilities will be held this weekend.
The Newton Dee folk festival will take place over Friday and Saturday, and is open to everyone.
With both evening and daytime performances and workshops, the event aims to offer opportunities for visitors to enjoy all kinds of music.
In addition to music and song, other attractions at the alcohol-free, family-friendly festival include organic food and drink, face painting and other activities throughout the village of Newton Dee.
On Friday, the festival in the Bieldside community will run from 7.30pm to 11pm, and on Saturday from 10.45am to 6pm, with further events from 7.30pm to 11pm.
All of the daytime events are free and suitable for all of the family, and the two evening concerts are ticketed to cover the costs of the festival.
All performers are taking part for no charge.
Tickets for the evening performances cost £6, to find out more visit www.newtondee.co.uk
