Aberdeen’s Music Hall has pulled off a coup with the announcement of a performance by a Grammy-nominated musician.
American saxophone star Bill Evans will be appearing at the recently renovated venue next month.
In his American Journey show, Evans will take the audience on a road trip through the heart and soul of US music, including funk, bop, blues, soul, bluegrass, folk and rock.
He will be teaming up with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (SNJO), who have been widely praised in Europe, America and Japan for their versatility and artistry.
Having previously played with Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Mick Jagger and Willie Nelson, Evans is one of the biggest names to appear at the Music Hall since it was re-opened in December.
