Police closed part of an Aberdeen road following a flat fire this evening.
Emergency services were called to Broomhill Road at around 7.40pm tonight after reports of a fire at a property.
Police closed the road at it’s junction with Holburn Street while firefighters battled the blaze.
Two units were sent to the property and the fire was extinguished by around 8.20pm.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “There was a fire at a flat on Broomhill Road.
“Two units were sent, one from central and one from North Anderson Drive.”
A police statement last night read:””Police Scotland wish to advise members of the public of a road closure at junction of Broomhill Road and Holburn Street, Aberdeen becasue of an ongoing incident.”
