Officers have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of north-east man.
Police were alerted to concerns for a man at the rear of Tesco in Huntly at around 5.30pm yesterday.
The man, 49, died at the scene.
A statement released by Police Scotland said: “A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course, and our thoughts are with his next of kin at this difficult time.
“We would like to thank the local community once again for your patience while our inquiries were carried out at the scene.”
