Concern is growing for the health of a missing Peterhead man last seen more than two weeks ago.
Police have scoured CCTV footage and undertaken house-to-house inquiries since Aivars Kajaks’ family family alerted them to his disappearance.
The 44-year-old was last seen in the Broad Place area of the town.
The police have now issued three different missing person posters – in English, Latvian and Russian – and are appealing for public help with their search.
Mr Kajaks’ native language is Latvian and he is believed to have numerous friends who speak a variety of languages.
Peterhead Inspector George Cordiner said: “It is vital we piece together Aivars’ movements during the past couple of weeks as it could lead us to where he currently is.
“Although Aivars was only reported missing to police a number of days ago, he hasn’t been seen for more than two weeks and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.
“I urge any friends or acquaintances to please get in touch as it is crucial we confirm he is safe and well.
“I also continue to ask members of the public to share our appeals and posters so that we can ensure Aivars’ details and photograph are seen by as many people as possible.
“A number of people have been in touch with information already and I would like to thank them for their assistance.
“Anyone else with information is asked to call police.”
Mr Kajaks is around 5ft6 with short brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a jacket and blue jeans.
He is known for working odd jobs, staying with friends on a short-term basis and is known to frequent the town centre.
