A folk music concert will take place in Inverurie tonight.
The band Full Tilt, which brings together the musical talents of folk artists Gemma Donald, Brian Nicholson, Alan Small and Manus McGuire, will perform at Inverurie Academy.
The evening of entertainment will feature music from Shetland, mainland Scotland, Ireland and beyond.
And special guests Allan Taylor, Geordie Murison and Jim Taylor – as well as the Garioch Fiddlers and Gary Coull – will also be in attendance.
This evening’s show in Inverurie, which was originally due to be held at the town hall but will now take place at the academy due to a double booking, is part of Full Tilt’s latest tour of Scotland.
The group will also be holding musical workshops tomorrow, open to all ages and abilities.
The first workshop event will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Inverurie Town Hall, followed by another at Williamson Hall in Elgin from 2.30pm to 430pm.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with tickets costing £12.45. The concert will run from 7pm-10pm.
