A church group is appealing for crocheters to join their Christmas project.
After a successful community and church poppy project last year, Banff Parish Church has launched their new knitted mission.
The congregation, along with people from Banff and surrounding towns, are creating an Angel Project where they knit and crochet little angels for the public to pick up and hang on their Christmas trees.
The idea was sparked by Reverend David Locke who read about a church doing something similar last year.
It may be the end of August, but the church’s Busy Hands Group is already producing many of the angels.
Now, they are appealing for people across the north-east of Scotland to join them.
It is hoped these can be hung on Christmas trees for the public in need of special decorations to take home and spread messages of love.
To get involved, contact the church office on 01261 818211 or message the Facebook page Banff and King Edward Parish Churches.
