Aberdeen audiences shall go to the ball this Christmas as TV and stage star Louie Spence takes a top role in a retelling of Cinderella.
The flamboyant dancer and choreographer visited the city yesterday to drum up publicity for the show at His Majesty’s Theatre (HMT).
Mr Spence will star as Prince Charming’s loyal sidekick Dandini, alongside returning favourite Alan McHugh.
Laura Main from BBC One series Call the Midwife will also be joining the cast.
The show will begin its run on Saturday, November 30.
Mr Spence said: “I’m thrilled to be spending Christmas in Aberdeen and can’t wait to bring some panto magic to the HMT stage.”
Managering director of Qdos Entertainment’s pantomime division, Michael Harrison, added: “Our Aberdeen show is always a jewel in the Scottish pantomime crown, and this year will be no exception.”
People can visit www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, phone 01224 641122 or visit a box office at HMT, the Music Hall or the Lemon Tree to book tickets.
