An award-winning Aberdeen wool shop has been chosen for this year’s Small Biz 100.
Wool for Ewe has been selected for the official countdown to Small Business Saturday, which takes place across the UK on December 7.
As part of its mission to celebrate small business success and encourage the nation to shop local, the Small Biz 100 campaign will spotlight each of the businesses chosen in the 100 days running up to the event.
Wool for Ewe, in Rosemount Place, is owed by Kathleen Fraser.
Her daughter and manager of the shop, Faye Howard, said: “The whole ethos is to keep the high street alive. It’s very exciting to be chosen as only a handful of businesses in Scotland were picked.
“Rosemount is a vibrant area of Aberdeen that is so often forgotten about. Regular customers love the atmosphere created by the many specialist, independent retailers, cafes, salons and services that the area has to offer.
“It is great that one of the businesses in this area has been chosen. I hope that we can all work together to keep this thriving community going for all those that love it.”
Wool for Ewe will be placed in the spotlight on Thursday, November 14.
