Police were alerted just after 3.10pm on Harbour Road in Gardenstown near Banff. Firefighters stabilised the vehicle to allow the driver to escape. Two fire engines were sent to the village. The male driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, but was not seriously hurt.
