A farmer’s market will return to Chapelton later this month after the success of the inaugural event.
Local producers will gather in Hume Square on September 22.
The family-friendly event will give visitors the chance to try a multitude of goodies from local companies such as Bannerman Butchers, The Principled Pig, The Bread Guy Bakery and Cove Honey Bees.
The Duchess of Fife, director of Elsick Development Company, said: “Our first farmer’s market was really popular with residents and brought hundreds to the town to try the many different offerings from some amazingly talented local producers.
“We can’t wait for our second farmer’s market and hope this is something that can continue into the future.”
