The first theft by housebreaking took place overnight between September 12 and 13 at the Kirk of St Nicholas on Back Wynd. The building was broken into and a two-figure sum of money was taken. The second incident took place overnight between September 15 and 16 at Holburn West Parish Church on Holburn Street. Nothing was stolen but a window was damaged. Detectives are continuing their inquiries into these incidents and checking CCTV images to gather more information. Anyone with information that may assist their investigation should contact Police Scotland through 101 quoting reference number 0501 of 16 September.
