Detectives in Aberdeen are appealing for information after a man wearing a balaclava entered a shop in the Kincorth area of the city and presented a weapon at two members of staff.
The incident happened at SPAR on Provost Watt Drive at around 10pm last night – the staff involved in the hold-up were uninjured but shaken by the events.
Detective Inspector Sam Buchan, of Ellon CID, said: “We are following a number of positive lines of inquiry and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Provost Watt Drive area around the time of the incident.
We are appealing for information following an attempted robbery that took place at SPAR on Provost Watt Drive, Kincorth last night. A man in a balaclava presented a weapon at members of staff at around 10pm, who were left uninjured but shaken.
“The man responsible is believed to be in his early 20s and from the local area.
