A car was completely burnt out after an early morning crash in the north-east this morning. It happened on the A90 at Stonehaven, near the Den of Logie turn-off at around 6.30am. A Citroen C2 caught fire after it was in a collision with a council vehicle. A police spokesman said no one was injured in the incident. He added: “One vehicle was left entirely burnt out after the collision. No one was injured as everybody was out in time. “One lane was closed northbound on the A90 as a result.” The road was fully re-opened at 7.36am. A fire service spokeswoman said three appliances, two from Stonehaven and one from Aberdeen, were sent to the scene. *UPDATE* 08:05 ⌚ #A90 N/B at Stonehaven, lane 2 now running. We extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and foam. “We have now left the scene and handed it over to the police.”
