Staff and pupils at Turriff Primary and Nursery have been praised by inspectors following a recent review of the school.
After a visit in September, the Care Inspectorate has released a report rating the school and nursery as “very good” for the quality of care and support and the quality of staffing.
It stated: “Although some staff were new to the service, they worked well as a team.
“The management team and staff were committed and highly motivated to provide the best early learning and childcare to the children attending the nursery.”
Following the previous inspection, Turriff Primary had been rated as “good” in all categories and head teacher Fiona Eaton said staff are committed to “raising standards further”.
She added: “I am extremely proud of our nursery team and early years practitioners who have been ably led by depute head teacher Claire Smith to ensure a safe and happy environment for children to develop and learn.”
