An organisation that works to preserve and celebrate one of Aberdeenshire’s most popular hills is looking to secure new members.
The Bailies of Bennachie has launched a recruitment drive which will run through October and hopes a number of new supporters of the outdoors will come forward.
Fiona Cormack, outreach officer for the charity, said: “The Bailies of Bennachie is a community group of volunteers who love the hill and work to care for its natural environment, history and culture.
“We are having this membership drive to promote all the work the Bailies do and encourage people to come and join us.”
The Bailies group was formed in 1973 and is run by a group of twelve trustees, who meet every six weeks.
Life membership costs £10.
