Phones, wallets and cash have been stolen from a number of cars in Aberdeen after they were left unlocked overnight.
Officers in Cove are appealing for anyone with CCTV to help their investigation of the thefts, which took place overnight between Tuesday and yesterday.
The criminals targeted unlocked vehicles on streets throughout the community.
Detective Sergeant Scott McKay said: “Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who has CCTV or dash-cam footage within Earn’s Heugh Circle, Cove Place, Cove Gardens, Partan Skelly Way, Scylla Grove, Scylla Gardens, Whitehills Place and the surrounding streets.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind the public of the importance of ensuring that your vehicles are secured and that any expensive personal items are removed from your vehicle overnight.”
Anyone with information is urged to phone the police on 101.
