Aberdeenshire Council has unveiled a series of suggested improvements for a north-east street and car park.
The plans put forward for Banff’s Bridge Street aim to make it more attractive and pedestrian friendly.
Protective bollards to prevent cars colliding with or damaging lighting columns are among the suggestions put forward in the application for the narrow, one way street.
The bollards will be of heritage style and will have reflective strips as opposed to being lit.
There are currently 30 parking spaces on the site and the application proposes an additional 15 spaces.
The existing wire fence will be also replaced with a three-foot wooden panelled fence.
