Two-vehicle crash forces A90 closure near Fordoun

A woman was treated by paramedics after a crash on the A90 Stonehaven-Dundee road tonight.

Emergency services were called to the collision, near Fordoun, at around 7.45pm.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended to reports a woman was trapped in a car.

But she had managed to escape her vehicle by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

Two vehicles were involved.

The woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Officers have closed the northbound carriageways to deal with the incident.
