Hundreds of new homes could be built across Aberdeenshire to meet demand if three separate projects are approved.
Fotheringham Homes has applied for permission to build 71 new homes in Johnshaven.
The Gourdon-based firm unveiled the blueprints in February and has since held a public consultation about the development, which would range from one to four-bedroom homes.

Meanwhile in Sauchen, plans have been submitted to build 27 new homes.
Kirkwood Homes lodged the application to build on agricultural land near Cluny Burn.
The development would consist of a mix of detached and terraced houses, immediately south of another recent development by Kirkwood Homes.
To improve road safety in the area, the developers have promised a number of traffic calming measures, including a 20mph speed limit.
