An Aberdeen mother has been jailed for assaulting a woman who she claims offered her son tablets.
Jodie Gray grabbed Kamila Sieradza by the hair, threw her on the ground, repeatedly punched her head and kicked her body in St Nicholas Kirkyard on the afternoon of Friday, September 6.
The 40-year-old, who was on bail at the time, previously admitted the attack and was sentenced at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
Her solicitor, Alex Burn, said the confrontation “escalated” after Gray’s son was offered tablets by Ms Sieradza.
Sheriff Graeme Buchanan said: “The trouble is you have got quite a record for assault and quite a number of previous custodial sentences.”
He sentenced Gray, of Long Walk Road in Aberdeen, to six months in prison.
