Scott Harvey, of Back Hilton Road, pled not guilty to the charges at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday. It is alleged that he repeatedly texted the politician and sent her a handwritten letter, demanding that she meet with him. It is also claimed that he attended the MP’s constituency office, shouting and swearing. He is said to have acted in an aggressive manner by repeatedly banging on the window and uttering abusive remarks. The alleged offences took place between January 28 and October 16. Harvey was released on bail and reminded not to contact Ms Blackman or enter her constituency office. The 50-year-old will return to the court for trial in February.
