Officers are appealing for information following a spate of robberies from takeaway vans in Aberdeen.
It’s thought the incidents started on Wednesday last week within the Whitemyers Avenue area of the city.
Owners of the targeted vans have reported the disappearance of kitchen equipment and food supplies that include large quantities of soft drink cans and chocolate.
Detective Sergeant Scott McKay said: “Officers have been carrying out inquires in the area in an effort together more information and dedicated patrols have been set up by local Mastrick Inspector Mark Stephen.
“I am appealing to anyone with information, especially night shift workers or delivery driver in the Whitemyers Industrial Estate during the hours of darkness to report anyone who may have seemed suspicious by contacting Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0505 of 22 October 2019.
“Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
