VIDEO: Fire crew to stay at scene through the night after Aberdeenshire steading blaze

Three crews battled a steading blaze in Aberdeenshire.

Appliances from Ellon and Aberdeen were sent to the scene south of Ellon after the alarm was raised at 6.50pm.

A fire spokesman said a 25 by 15ft steading, with bales inside, was “well alight” and jets were used to bring it under control.

UPDATE:

He said one pump remained at the farm and was going to stay there through the night on a “watching brief”.

A police spokesman said they have been made aware and officers were sent to the scene.
