The fire originated in the supermarket’s café area. A spokesman said: “There was a small chip pan fire in the kitchen area. “We had 10 firefighters on the scene who have since left.” The alarm was raised just after 11.05am and two appliances were sent from Altens. A thermal imaging camera was used and the fire was extinguished around 11.30am.
