Music legend Paul Weller will play Aberdeen Music Hall next year as part of a 12-date UK tour.
He will play on Friday, May 8 – the first time he has visited the north-east since 2011, when he appeared at the AECC.
Tickets for the gig are on general sale this Friday at 9am.
Aberdeen Performing Arts chief executive Jane Spiers said: “Paul Weller is one of the greats and this will be an amazing opportunity to see him perform in the intimate surroundings of the iconic Music Hall.”
The singer, who has not toured the UK since 2017, has recently been in the studio writing and recording new songs.
A spokesman for the singer has said the fruits of those labours will be revealed to fans in the New Year.
Weller has already released an album this year – Other Aspects Live at The Royal Festival Hall – taking in hits from The Jam, The Style Council and his solo career.
