An appeal has gone out for sightings of a white high-performance BMW M3 after it disappeared from where it was parked in Inverness.
Both the police and the car’s owner are asking the public for information after it was taken overnight on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police in Inverness are investigating the reported theft of a white BMW M3 from the Cameron Square area of the city.
“The theft is believed to have happened between 10pm on Wednesday October 30 and 8.45am on Thursday October 31. The car’s registration is W6 DGA. It is also described as having a glass roof as well as missing caps on its front bumper where it has been previously towed.
“Anyone with information or who has seen the car is urged to call Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
