A yellow be aware warning for rain has been issued for the forecaster, starting at 6am tomorrow and running until 12pm on Sunday. The warning covers the whole of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, as well as a huge part of the Highlands along the eastern coast north of Inverness. According to the Met Office “persistent and heavy rain on Saturday is likely to bring some disruption from flooding”. Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer. Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.”
